❝ I like KPop, too. I really do. I've been a Shawol and EXOtic for a while. But I won't say American pop is any less 'good'. In my honest opinion, not all KPop artists can sing, and some American pop artists can. I just prefer KPop because it is easier for me to relate to, culturally. Otherwise, the two types are, as said, the same, but only in different languages. I don't see how one should be superior to the other. ❞

Your opinion is quite valid. I agree that some KPop artists can’t sing while other American artists can. Perhaps I should rephrase myself. I simply find the Kpop industry more impressive than the American one, and I think a big factor that contributes to that is the training that idols go through. Kpop idols just seem to have more respect for one another, and hate a lot less, at least, publicly. It just seems to me that idols are more deserving of their fame. For example, in my opinion, Justin Bieber does not deserve the amount of attention he gets, neither does Taylor Swift, even though I like her music. Americans feed off juicy stories and drama and gossip even if it’s not all true. It’s just one of the reasons why I guess I don’t like the industry.

But I do see your point. One industry is not really superior to the other. They’re just different and for some reason or another, I prefer the Kpop one.

I don’t know why K-pop is so superior to American pop music. It just is. It really shouldn’t be, because the melodies, beats, and progressions of the songs are virtually the same.

I think it’s the people. Most K-pop celebrities have huge amounts of talent in many different areas, like speaking and understanding many other languages. Most American pop singers on the radio can barely sing, let alone dance and sing.

But even a lot of concepts between the two industries are the same. SM Entertainment just sticks idols in a light up box and has them dance in every music video. And both industries try to sell sex.

I just don’t understand why I like K-pop and hate the American pop industry…

women are not weak

Some pictures of me as Raven and Death the Kid that I’ve managed to find from Colossalcon after of scrolling through hundreds of facebook and forum photos. The DC/Marvel and Soul Eater shoots were a blast!

I started watching Amnesia and god damn those are some hot pieces of animation right there.

I actually started watching the first episode just because the character designs were so gorgeous shhhhh
